Last night I watched the Academy Award nominated film The Secret of Kells. This is my 20 Word Review of the movie.

“This movie is a visual feast with a strong whimsical feel, engaging characters, and a perfectly paced story. Strongly recommend.”

We watched the movie last night on Netflix and were glad that we did not listen to the age recommendation on the screen which said it was perfect for kids 5-7 years old. The film had a few scary moments including an attacking hoard of Norsemen, death, and destruction. Not really something I’d like my five to seven year old to wrestle with as they fall asleep.
