I've started watching So You Think you Can Dance this season with my daughter. If I had to summarize what happened thus far I'd say:

"Don't promote people we'll start to care about if none of them are going to make the final cut."

This show is not a new one to the competitive reality market, and the producers and editors should be a lot smarter in making decisions about who to show and not show. If they decide to do a segment on someone, let us see their final dance routine so we can decide for ourselves. Also, have more than one or two of the people you do segments on make the final cut.

It is always a challenge keeping viewers happy in The Business of Entertainment.
