Heading to Comic Con 2010 in San Diego

Tomorrow I will spend the day in San Diego at the 2010 Comic Con. I have never been to this haven for all things related to comic books and pop culture.

I plan on spending my time looking at and writing about:
  • How marketing is integrated into conventions
  • Websites and Web addresses used by companies at the convention
  • The influence of television programs and their dissemination of information to targeted audiences
  • What artists and writers do to market themselves to the public
  • The quality of advertising and supporting materials available
  • Compare promotional plans among publishers

I also hope to have a little fun along the way. If you have a suggestion about something I should look for, please post it in the comments below. Look for future posts focusing on the marketing and business side of the Comic Con to be published starting later this week.
