How does MOI contribute to Identity Recognition?

We posted earlier about the acronym MOI—Moment of Impact—, the first impression that someone gets the first time they visit your website. Remember that the moment of impact happens within the first three seconds that a potential client visits your site.

Identity Recognition comes after the MOI and tells the potential customer who the company is. This process is assisted with a clear brand identity that is communicated through all of the company’s marketing campaigns, including, but not limited to the website. If a user visits a website but leaves without remembering what the company was named, or what the website address was, it’s unlikely that that potential client will turn into an actual client.

The logo, look, wording, and design of the website can help to create that identity recognition within the mind of the visitor. The higher the probability that a visitor can remember you, the better chance you have of that person visiting your website again. Repeated exposure helps to convert potential clients into actual clients who will purchase your products or service and increase your bottom line success. Without that identity recognition, the pathway to getting new customers becomes a much more challenging process.
