Terry McDermott authors 101 Theory Drive

Family friend and author Terry McDermott (http://tmcdermott.com) has a new book coming out soon. His last book Perfect Soldiers: The 9/11Hijackers was about the terrorists who hijacked the planes that flew into the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. It was an insightful and eye opening read. Terry has a background in journalism—he’s been a reporter for the last 30 years for a number of newspapers—and his book is a great example of the research techniques he learned as a member of the press. His writing style is superb and he went to great lengths to get the back stories that helped tell the story of why and how the hijackers developed into individuals who would kill thousands in an act of terror.

His new book 101 Theory Drive:A Neuroscientists Quest for Memory is about Gary Lynch, a neuroscientist whose quest is to define the processes within the brain that make memories. An in-depth look at the human brain from the inside—Mr. Lynch also explores the parts of the brain responsible for speaking, learning, and remembering—, 101Theory Drive also centers on the personal account of the experiences Terry McDermott had with Mr. Lynch since their first meeting in 2004. 101 Theory Drive  can be preordered on Amazon.com, or from other major retailers, prior to its April 6th release.

I look forward to a magnificent learning experience as I read through 101 Theory Drive. If this final copy is anything like his prior book, it belongs on your Must Read List.
